Current BSPH students in Environmental Health Sciences should plan for graduate level coursework in their senior year which requires the permission of the Concentration Lead.

Admissions Information


Who Should Apply
Intended for current UNC-Chapel Hill students in a science or math undergraduate program (including BSPH) who are interested in a practice-based master’s degree with a public health focus.

Prior Degree Required
Bachelor’s degree must be in a science or math field from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Required Prerequisites
Courses in two of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Calculus or Physics.

Undergraduate G.P.A.
Department-wide: incoming students had a mean undergraduate GPA of 3.3

Letters of Recommendation Required
3 (academic and/or professional; at least one academic)
