The Gillings School’s Commencement ceremony will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in the Dean E. Smith Center.

Graduation Steps

Graduation is a two-step process. Every student must:
1) Apply to graduate in ConnnectCarolina
February 21st: Graduation Application Priority Deadline for the Commencement Program
2) Register for the Gillings ceremony: RSVP Here.
April 1: RSVP Deadline

To get started, visit the University Registrar. Use the following website to confirm that all graduation-related items have been completed by the deadlines.

Order Graduation Regalia

Graduation regalia can be purchased online at the UNC Student Stores website. These orders are fulfilled by the vendor and have 2-week shipping. Undergraduate regalia can also be bought in-person at the UNC Student Stores.
