27 Gillings School undergraduates inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

Twenty-seven students from the UNC Gillings School of Global Health have been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the country’s oldest and most honored college honorary society. These outstanding students represent all four Gillings departments that offer a Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree. They include:
From the Department of Biostatistics:
- Jackson Miles Prochaska, a junior with biostatistics and mathematics majors
- Divya Aikat, a junior with biostatistics and sociology majors
- Bridget Lin, a junior with biostatistics and computer science majors and a mathematics minor
- Justin Kyler Wang, a junior with a biostatistics major and a chemistry minor
- Harliv Kaur, a senior with biostatistics and exercise and sport science majors
- Rishi Reddy Ranabothu, a sophomore with computer science and biostatistics majors and a chemistry minor
- Vijay Reddy Seethana, a junior with a biostatistics major and biology and medical anthropology minors
- Manasa Tandri, a junior with a biostatistics major and data science and chemistry minors
- Licza Fabela Lobo, a junior with a biostatistics major and a data science minor
From the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering:
- Joshua Singleton, a junior with an environmental health sciences major
- Aneesh Purohit, a senior with neuroscience and environmental health sciences majors and a chemistry minor
- Savannah Faith Grizzard, a junior with environmental health sciences and chemistry majors and a biology minor
- Sydney Kates Martin, a junior with environmental health sciences and studio art majors
- Max Feldman, a junior with an environmental health sciences major
- Rebecca Lynn Turner, a junior with environmental health sciences and chemistry majors
- Arjun Suresh, a sophomore with environmental health sciences and Asian studies majors and a chemistry minor
From the Department of Health Policy and Management:
- Eun Gyeol Angela Seo, a senior with a health policy and management major and a Hispanic studies minor
- Dorian Ho, a junior with a health policy and management major and a neuroscience minor
- Sarah Ball, a junior with a health policy and management major and a chemistry minor
- Merry Duwel, a junior with health policy and management and French majors
- Neha Simran Saggi, a junior with health policy and management and biology majors and a chemistry minor
- Harini Somanchi, a junior with a health policy and management major and chemistry and Spanish for the medical professions minors
From the Department of Nutrition:
- Margaret Elizabeth Griffin Gourley, a senior with nutrition and women’s and gender studies majors and a chemistry minor
- Yu-Ha Kim, a junior with a nutrition major and chemistry and food studies minors
- Cameron Faith Grant, a junior with chemistry and nutrition science and research majors and a biology minor
- Erin Beck Pearson, a senior with a nutrition major and entrepreneurship and medical anthropology minors
- Navkaran Singh, a senior with a nutrition science major and a chemistry minor
Phi Beta Kappa membership is open to undergraduates in college and professional degree programs who meet stringent eligibility requirements. Less than 1% of all college students qualify for acceptance.
A total of 298 UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduates were inducted this spring as new members.
