Gillings School of Global Public Health Visual Elements
Overview
There are different visual elements associated with the Gillings School. Each mark has a specific usage and criteria. When in doubt, please contact sphcomm@unc.edu.
Gillings School Logo
As the primary visual identity for the Gillings School, our logo should appear on all communications, including brochures, stationery, business cards and websites.
Below are some guidelines for determining the type of file you need. For any questions, please contact sphcomm@unc.edu.
Types of Files
Carolina Blue PMS (Pantone 542)

- JPEG: Use for most print products, such as flyers, posters and stationery. (You will notice two different versions: PMS and CMYK. Please ask your printer what they prefer.)
- Need higher resolution for a print product? Contact Branson Moore at branson@unc.edu.
Web
- PNG: Use for web and video. These files have a “transparent” background.

‘We’re on it!’ Badge and Wordmark
The ‘We’re on it!” graphic identity can be used as a secondary visual element for design projects. Note that any use of the ‘We’re on it!’ graphic must be paired with the Gillings School logo when appropriate; it should not be substituted for the logo.
