Public Health Advocacy Panel: Gun Violence Prevention as a Public Health Issue
Hosted by the Advocacy Subcommittee of the Gillings Inclusive Excellence Council, this community conversation featured three expert panelists: Dr. Frank Baumgartner, Dr. Beth Moracco and Dr. Ciara Zachary. Each spoke about policy and gaps in policies surrounding gun violence, evidence-based prevention strategies and action to advocate for public health change. This panel was moderated by Leoneda Inge.
