Teaching and Learning Community of Care Presents Conversations On Series

This is an opportunity for faculty who are curious-minded lifelong learners to come together and build a community of care. Topics will center on pressing classroom issues while emphasizing small incremental changes in the pursuit of well-being and improvement in the teaching and learning space.

  • Series Outcome: Discuss various topics affecting the teaching and learning space grounded in transparency and honesty with hopes to sustain over time as a support group for teaching faculty.
  • Who is Invited: Teaching faculty and any faculty interested in teaching
  • Time: 12:00 pm to 12:45pm with an option to attend either Tuesday or Wednesday (no more than 45-minute commitments) on Zoom
  • When it Will Begin: Tuesday March 19th, 2024

Focuses on how we facilitate meaningful discussions, foster trust, and cultivate a sense of belonging with and among our students.

March 19th, 20th – Conversations on Navigating Classroom Discussion

Aims to equip our faculty with strategies to navigate sensitive topics, foster inclusive dialogue, and effectively address challenging situations with our students.

Option 2: Add Individual Sessions to Your Outlook Calendar

For each of the sessions, we have an ICS file provided that you can use to add both the Tuesday and Wednesday dates to your Outlook calendar (then you can choose which to attend). The calendar event will have all the necessary details including the Zoom link we’ll be using. In the Dates & Session Focus section above, you’ll find links to the ICS file for each session, or you can access them here:
