Room and A/V reservations
Our School has numerous spaces in which faculty, staff, students and others may host classes, seminars, meetings, and other events or programs. We also provide A/V and other teaching and event support services.

Room Reservation Process
For SPH Faculty and Staff
Using your personal Microsoft Outlook Calendar, SPH faculty and staff can request the use of conference room and classroom spaces. Instructions on how to schedule using Outlook can be found here: How-To: Schedule and Book Rooms.
For SPH Students and Non-Public Health Personnel
Students and UNC faculty and staff can reserve a space using the ONE TIME REQUEST FORM.
You may also view the classroom, conference room, or event & special spaces you wish to reserve.
The Office of Student Affairs will confirm all requests and send a confirmation. Requests for meetings, events, or programs will not be confirmed until classes have been scheduled for that semester (i.e., March 15, 2014 for fall 2014; November 1, 2013 for spring 2014 reservations). Also note that departmental conference rooms must be confirmed via the appropriate department.

You can view the available multimedia equipment in each Audio Visual Services managed classroom, by visiting: http://www.sph.unc.edu/rooms/.
If your assigned room is not listed or does not have the desired equipment, feel free to complete the on-line request form with Audio Visual Services, or call 966-6536.
Facilities and other Logistics Services
If your meeting, event or program requires the following, please contact Brent Wishart as soon as possible to make arrangements for:
- Tables (including table cloths)
- Extra chairs
- The removal or rearranging of furniture
- Atrium display cases
- Security access to the building outside of regular work hours (including on weekends)
- Housekeeping or cleaning services
- Extra-large banners
If you plan to serve food or refreshments, you will be responsible for the set-up and clean-up of the space. If the room set-up is rearranged for your event, please restore it to the original condition before leaving.
