Current UNC students are eligible to apply to a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) degree program after completion of department-specific BSPH program prerequisites and most General College requirements. Students are eligible for admission after completing 52-60 credit hours of coursework or by examination/advanced placement credit. UNC students typically apply to the Gillings School of Global Public Health in the second semester of their sophomore year of study for fall admission the following academic year. You may apply to more than one department; however you will need to complete and submit an application to each department.
All application materials, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted no later than the application deadline (listed above).
Junior transfer applicants interested in majoring in Health Policy and Management must submit a complete application (including letters of recommendation, personal statement, and resume) by January 13, 2015. Incomplete applications and applications received after this date will not be considered by the BSPH Program in Health Policy and Management.

Apply for FEDERAL financial aid by March 1, 2014 (please verify this date via FAFSA) via FAFSA. If you've been admitted and completed the FAFSA form by their deadline, the UNC Office of Scholarships and Student Aid will create a financial aid package for you.
