Three public health students tapped into UNC's highest honorary society

The UNC Order of the Golden Fleece inducted UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health students Ryan Kingsbury, Hannah Pollet and Shane Capps at a tapping ceremony held Tuesday, March 23, at Forest Theater. Considered the highest honorary society at the University, the Golden Fleece selects its members based upon service to the University as reflected in scholarship, motivation, creativity, loyalty and leadership in academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Kingsbury is a master’s student in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Pollet is a master’s student in the Department of Maternal and Child Health, and Capps is a senior in the Department of Health Policy and Management.
