Program Description: The purpose of this course is to enable the learner to provide optimal breastfeeding support to mothers, babies and families and prepare experienced clinicians who will be sitting for the IBCLE exam. The Lactation Consultant Review Course is an in-depth overview of human lactation and evidence-based breastfeeding management. This course is designed to prepare clinicians who may be sitting for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners exam. The course is appropriate for first time test takers and recertifying IBCLCs.

Target Audience: Lactation consultants, breastfeeding support persons, nurses, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, nutritionists, health educators, doulas, midwives, physicians, physician assistants, peer counselors, chiropractors, speech pathologists, public health practitioners and students
