CGBI: Breastfeeding Exclusive June 2018- BEBES Update

Last week the Carolina BEBES co-hosted the Sexual Health Trivia Night with the UNC Student Wellness office. Between 50-60 students, alumni, and friends overtook Steel String Brewery to compete in topics that included STI knowledge and prevention, anatomy, global maternal and child health, and other aspects of sexual health and wellbeing. It was a very successful event filled with conversation, laughter, and a chance to brush up on our knowledge of safe and healthy sex and bodies.
We also finished the year with the election of the next Carolina BEBES officers: Edith Amponsah and Mattea Alexander will serve as co-Presidents, Ariana Stewart as treasurer, and Kate Crissman as secretary. It is exciting to see their passion about healthy birth and breastfeeding, and I am confident that they will help do some amazing things for BEBES, our school, and our communities.
