Online Learning Modules

Breastfeeding University was created with busy healthcare and child care providers in mind. Each module provides evidence-based, up-to-date information from an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, lactation consultants, public health professionals, ECE professionals and/ or La Leche League leaders. The interactive modules will help to establish a working knowledge of how to support families to meet their breastfeeding goals.

The online learning modules are separated into three virtual classrooms:

Healthcare Settings (Click here for module descriptors)

Childcare Settings: Early Care and Education Providers

Childcare Settings: Trainers of Early Care and Education Providers*

One module is designed to take 30-minutes to complete. However, the modules include optional opportunities to learn more which may take additional time. Enrolling in each virtual classroom provides access to all associated modules. Certificates may be printed free of charge to verify completion of a single module or cumulatively to show multiple modules within a classroom.

There are no commitments; register for a free account and explore the Breastfeeding University virtual classrooms. If you have questions after enrolling please contact Daina Huntley.
