MPH Dual Degrees
Dual degree programs at the Gillings School balance structural efficiency with individual program integrity and result in the awarding of two degrees from two different disciplines with coordination across the degrees. The Gillings School of Global Public Health Master of Public Health is a 42-credit graduate professional degree program.
Environmental Sciences and Engineering
The dual master’s programs are intended for students who are interested in combining environmental health with community, urban or regional planning.
Health Behavior
The Master’s-to-Doctoral Program (MSPH-PhD) is for bachelor’s trained students seeking the PhD in Health Behavior. Training focuses initially on acquiring master’s level core competencies in public health and health behavior, resulting in the MSPH degree. Students then complete all requirements for the PhD in Health Behavior.
