Bios Announces James E. Grizzle Alumni Award Recipient (2008)
This year’s Foard Lecture and Bios Alumni Day will be held on Monday, April 14 at the Friday Center. The Grizzle lecture and Bios Alumni Day will start at 3:30 in the Windflower A&B. As in past years, the department will host a social at 3:30 PM followed by a seminar presentation by the winner of the James E. Grizzle Alumni Award from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
Dr. F. Dubois Bowman, PhD (2000), is the 2007 recipient of the James E. Grizzle Distinguished Alumni Award. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at Emory University. Dr. Bowman will be presenting a lecture following the awards ceremony titled “A Look into the Human Brain: Neural Processing Representations of Behavior and Disease.” Other students receiving awards are:
