About

Donna R. Dinkin, DrPH MPH is recognized for her expertise in designing, implementing and evaluating leadership development experiences for mid- to senior level health and human service professionals. She serves as a co-trainer for the Center for Creative Leadership’s (CCL) Leadership Beyond Boundaries Program in Africa and has been a Capacity Building and Training Evaluator for several global health projects in the US and in Africa.

Dr. Dinkin’s unique contribution to the practice of leadership development is her experience in the area of Action Learning. She is a seasoned Team Learning Coach and has recently led or been involved in several initiatives that were designed to help people, organizations and communities build sustainable leadership capacity through the use of strategic action learning team projects. Donna has served as the lead Action Learning Consultant and Coach for the CCL-Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Ladder to Leadership Program, the Kentucky Public Health Leadership Institute (PHLI), the Leaders Across Borders (Mexico and the US) Program, the California-Hawaii PHLI and the new Plaza Partnership ReAL Collaborative in Nebraska.

Dr. Dinkin has a Master's degree in Public Health, Public Health Nutrition (MPH) and a Doctorate (DrPH) in Public Health Leadership/ Health Policy & Administration from the University of North Carolina (UNC), Gillings School of Global Public Health. Donna is an adjunct member of the Center for Creative Leadership, the Gillings School of Global Public Health, Health Policy and Management Department and the Health Education Department at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro.
