Biostatistics 2015 Awards Day recipients announced
This year’s Biostatistics Awards Day was held on Thursday, April 23 in Room 1301, McGavran-Greenberg Hall.
Lu Mao, one of this year’s ENAR Distinguished Student Paper Award winners, presented Efficient Estimation of Semiparametric Transformation Models for the Cumulative Incidence of Competing Risks.
This year’s other ENAR Distinguished Student Paper Award winners from UNC are Dr. Guanhua Chen (now assistant professor of biostatistics at Vanderbilt University), Eunjee Lee (department of Statistics), and Thomas Stewart. Fang-Shu Ou was the recipient of the ENAR 2015 Regional Advisory Board Poster Award.
Additional award recipients are Dr. Guanghua Chen, recipient of the Barry H. Margolin Award for Excellence in Doctoral Research in Biostatistics; Dr. Zhengzheng Tang, recipient of the Kupper Dissertation Publication Award; and Xuan Zhou, recipient of the Elandt-Johnson Award for Best Biostatistics Master’s paper.
