The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will be hosting a symposium at the Friday Center on March 16 and 17, 2006 entitled “Safe Drinking Water: Where Science Meets Policy.” There are four themes for the symposium: water and human health in developing countries and disadvantaged communities, emerging chemical and microbial contaminants in drinking water, watershed protection, and water supply management. Information about the symposium can be found on the Symposium Website at www.cep.unc.edu/symposium/2006/agenda. Abstract submissions are due December 1. Registration information is also available on the Website.
