UNC implementing new student systems (starting with Student Central replacement)
UNC is in the process of replacing many of its information systems through a project called ConnectCarolina. In the first public go-live for the project, on July 20, 2009, a new portal (called AccessCarolina ) was launched to replace Student Central. AccessCarolina provides one-stop access to the UNC directory, student processes (e.g., dropping and adding courses), course information (e.g., your course schedule), undergraduate advising information and more. Further phases of the student project take place over the next 15 months, so stay tuned for additional announcements.
