Stevens to speak at AICR’s nutrition and cancer conference

The 2010 American Institute of Cancer Research (AICR) Conference on Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Cancer will be held Oct. 21-22 in Washington, D.C. June Stevens, PhD, AICR/World Cancer Research Fund Distinguished Professor and chair of UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health’s Department of Nutrition, will speak. The conference will be of interest to basic scientists, clinical investigators, epidemiologists, dietitians, nutritionists, policy makers and other health professionals interested in food, nutrition, physical activity and weight management in relation to cancer.Registration and program information is at www.aicr.org/conference. Early registration is available until Friday, Sept. 24.
