Taylor M. Snyder, MPH

Taylor M. Snyder graduated from UNC-Gillings’ Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program with a MPH in 2013. While a student, she was a co-leader of Carolina BEBE’s and collaborated with CGBI to conduct quantitative and qualitative research on donor human milk banking. Research findings were disseminated through a lengthy report and several conference presentations.

Taylor founded Maternal & Infant Health Consulting (M&IHC) in January of 2014 with the mission of bridging the gap between research and programmatic implementation in order to improve health outcomes, primarily for women of reproductive age and children under five. In order to achieve that mission, they focus on research, facilitation, and communications.

M&IHC’s focus areas include breastfeeding, reproductive health, nutrition, family planning, immunizations, and community health. M&IHC’s Hub of Global Health Independent Contractors are trusted by a diverse array of clients, including Population Services International (PSI) and eHealth Africa (eHA).

Taylor proudly serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and the Alumni Board of UNC-Gillings’ MCH Department. She is the recipient of the US Government’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau Leadership Trainee Award and the 2018 WAKE Tech2Empower Award.
