About

Anne M. McGeorge, CPA, is the leader of the health care practice for Grant Thornton LLP. She has been representing health care organizations for almost 35 years and has worked extensively with large health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, ACO’s, managed care organizations, Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations, home health/hospice companies, physician practices, and group purchasing organizations. She has assisted clients in all aspects of financial consulting, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, ACO formation, physician contracting, internal audit, executive compensation, ERM, due diligence, regulatory issues, and IRS matters.  She has provided litigation support on health care related matters and has testified as an expert witness on many occasions.

As the Global leader for Grant Thornton International, Anne coordinates the delivery of professional services to health care and life sciences clients throughout 140 offices worldwide.

Anne holds a BBA degree (in Accounting) from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and an MS degree (also in Accounting) from the University of Virginia. She is on the adjunct faculty at the University of North Carolina’s School of Public Health and sits on a number of non-profit boards around the country.
