About

Dr. Radford is the Director of Evaluation and Outcomes for Care Share Health Alliance in Raleigh, NC. Prior to joining Care Share, she served as the Deputy Director of the NC Rural Health Research & Policy Analysis Center housed in the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research at UNC.

Dr. Radford previously worked with the NC Office of Rural Health and Community Care (ORH); she was also the Chief Financial Officer of a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Over the last twenty plus years, she has worked extensively with safety-net organizations providing technical assistance in the areas of evaluation of practice operations, finance, reimbursement and business operations. She has worked with a variety of agencies to design evaluations, including identification of data sources and development of relevant performance and outcome metrics.  She has also worked with staff from several other states in developing technical assistance programs for use in supporting safety net providers in their states.

Dr. Radford is also a Research Fellow at the Sheps Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Health Policy and Management at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health.
