About

Liz Bucrek is the Online Learning Coordinator of Clinical Scholars. The initiative is funded through the Robert Wood Johnson foundation, and the mission is to equip health care providers from every discipline with leadership tools centered in equity, diversity, and inclusion to transform their careers and the health of their communities. Liz brings with her close to 20 years in the field of education and has worked as a secondary French and Spanish teacher, as an instructional coach, for North Carolina Virtual Public Schools, and as Program Manager and instructor for Carolina Navigators, a global education outreach and service-learning program at UNC Chapel Hill. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a master's degree from North Carolina State University. With Clinical Scholars, Liz helps to manage online learning activities, coordinate webinars, and develop program newsletters.

Staff/Administrative Duties

-Assist with online program development, coordination, evaluation, and other communication and administrative tasks. 

-Manage program online learning activities in the learning management system (LMS). 

-Develop learning content and media to support existing and new activities, and work with program participants and staff for optimal online learning. 

-Coordinate and manage program webinars with subject-matter experts and other programmatic web conferences. 

-Develop communications via email, newsletters, video recordings, and LMS posts for participants and program staff and partners about program activities, news, resources, and progress on learning activities. 

-Provide technical training and support for program software and technology for staff and participants, implement and maintain program evaluation activities and online learning standards, and serve as the point of contact for assistance in the online environment and at in-person program convenings. 

-Manage participant technical support funding opportunities and assist with internal programs like Slack and Asana.
