About

Meera Viswanathan is a health services researcher with 17 years of experience working on systematic review and related methods. Dr. Viswanathan has employed her expertise in research design and methodology in preparing evidence-based reports for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Office of Population Affairs, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Assistant Secretary of Planning and Evaluation (ASPE). She also has extensive experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis. She has led or participated in the qualitative and quantitative phases of design, data collection, and analysis for the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), CDC and private foundation projects, using traditional as well as community-based participatory designs.
