About

I am interested in exploring how marketing practices, especially marketing of unhealthful products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, sugary drinks), affects health behaviors. I have also worked on projects examining the effectiveness of health and nutrient warning labels to change perceptions, purchasing, and consumption of unhealthful products. Ultimately, I hope that my research will help inform policy aimed at regulating marketing of these products to promote more healthful behaviors.

Research Activities

 - Marketing of unhealthy products
 - Nutrition policy
 - Health communication
 - Experimental design
