Administrators of the Gillings School of Global Public Health’s photography contest, “Global Health Challenges and Opportunities,” announced the winning photographs this week.

The contest, which ran in fall 2013, was judged by a Gillings School panel and through online voting that took place Nov. 18 to Dec. 2, 2013. The event was timed to celebrate the launch of the School’s Global Gateway, formerly the Office of Global Public Health. (More news soon about the Gateway.)
