When you graduate from the School of Public Health you automatically become a member of the School’s Alumni Association. Membership is free and while the primary benefit is the connection to each other, current faculty, staff, and students, there are also many valuable and complementary benefits and services available to you.

Free email forwarding services
UNC provides free email forwarding services to alumni. Create a unique email address ending with @alumni.unc.edu to forward email to other addresses. Log in to our Alumni Online Community to activate or change email forwarding.
Alumni and current faculty, staff, students and friends of the School have access to the School’s searchable database, which contains records for more than 18,000 people in all 50 states and 105 countries. Search the database or update your record.
The School runs the largest and most comprehensive continuing education program among schools of public health in the United States. Contact our Office of Continuing Education for information about courses.
All requests for transcripts are processed through the Office of the University Registrar.
UNC’s libraries are open to the public and the Health Sciences Library offers additional services to public health alumni, free of charge, including:

Carolina Public Health magazine
Alumni receive a free subscription to Carolina Public Health magazine. Two issues come out each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, and feature stories about the work of our students, alumni, faculty and friends who are dedicating their lives to accelerating public health solutions across North Carolina and around the world.
