Finding Hope (and a Job) in DC

Join Jerold Mande for a discussion on federal nutrition policy. Learn about the main “players” in nutrition policy in Washington DC, updates on major nutrition policy initiatives and tips for how to get a federal job and have an outsized impact on public health.

Following his talk, Mande will be available at a reception to answer your questions and discuss networking for job opportunities in DC.

Mande has decades of experience writing and implementing policy at the FDA, USDA, White House and Congress. He is a Professor of the Practice at the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a Senior Fellow at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life, Tufts University.
