Public Discourse Post-Election: Is Dialogue Possible?

November 16, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

On Nov. 16-17, the UNC community is invited to a two-part discussion about the 2020 elections. The discussion will consider the strategies and messaging employed by campaigns and their influence on the shape of civic lives and public discourse.

The first event addresses the elections from a frontline perspective, while the second tackles them from an academic angle. Prof. Kevin Marinelli moderates both events.

To guarantee the panelists properly address student interests, concerns, and perspectives during the discussion, students are asked to submit questions ahead of time. Students can submit their questions while signing up on each event’s registration page or send them via email to publicdiscourse@unc.edu.

As these events are limited to UNC-CH students, faculty, and staff, you must sign up with a UNC-CH email address to be approved.
