I’m Too Young for This: Understanding, Measuring and Addressing Quality of Life, Fertility Concerns and Distress in Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer

John M. Salsman, PhD, is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Health Policy at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He is the Director of Clinical Research in Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology and the Co-Leader of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University. Dr. Salsman’s work focuses on maximizing the health-related quality of life of adolescents and young adults with cancer both during and after treatment.
