Event Navigation
This event qualifies for 4 hours of credit toward the annual inclusive excellence training credit for Gillings School faculty and staff.
For participants of all training levels in the biomedical research community, this 4-hour interactive workshop will highlight examples of current communication of race and ethnicity in published research, cross-disciplinary “best practices,” common poor practices, and how participants can improve their own writing and communication. We will include brief lectures paired with small-group activities in which participants will practice applying core concepts.
