BIOS Seminar: Predicting Child Mortality

Jamie Perin, the 2018 James E. Grizzle Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, will be presenting her award lecture for this week’s biostatistics seminar. The lecture is titled, “Predicting child mortality by cause in high mortality countries with the Bayesian lasso.” Jamie Perin’s research interests are international health, biostatistics, longitudinal data, missing data, child mortality, statistical epidemiology, diarrhea and child health.

Jamie Perin, PhD, is an associate scientist in the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
