43rd Annual UNC Lineberger Scientific Symposium

This cancer research symposium brings together speakers from UNC Lineberger and from around the country, and is open to students, faculty, staff and trainees.
There is an exciting lineup of 17 talks on the theme of “Dysregulated Signaling Pathways in Cancer: Insights into Novel Mechanisms and Therapeutic Options.” The agenda includes basic and clinical science presentations cutting across many different cancers, and features three recent Lasker Award recipients: C. David Allis, PhD, William G. Kaelin, Jr., MD, and Charles Sawyers, MD. The Lasker Awards recognize major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of human disease.
The symposium is free, but registration is required. There is a $20 cost for an optional lunch each day. Registration will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 24.
