The Science of Breast Cancer Disparities: A Symposium in Honor of the Carolina Breast Cancer Study and Robert Millikan
This special symposium will honor the scientific contributions of Robert Millikan, PhD, MPH, who studied the causes of breast cancer, especially among African-American women. Women in Science Symposium
The Women in Science group for graduate students and postdocs in the biological and biomedical sciences at UNC is hosting an annual Women in Science Symposium. The event begins with breakfast, followed by opening remarks from Chancellor Folt, a keynote address from Barbara Hamkalo, PhD, a reception and poster session, a history of women in science presentation and closing remarks and awards.
