Conversations on Anti-Black Violence and Tools for Navigating the Classroom Workshop

The Departments of Sociology and Anthropology and the Institute of African American Research are hosting a workshop facilitated by Dr. Eddie Moore of the Privilege Institute. The workshop will provide instructors with tips and insights for dealing with challenging conversations about race and racism that may come up in the classroom due to current events. Two identical three-hour sessions will be offered on August 3, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.
