Asian American Identities and Addressing Anti-Asian Racism
November 15, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Event Navigation
Dr. Jennifer Ho, professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, will discuss what it means to be Asian American and the history of anti-Asian racism from the 19th century to our present day, which we have seen over the last few years with the violent manifestations of anti-Asian racism during the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion will also address things that all of us can do to work for an end — not just to anti-Asian racism but all forms of racism and intersectional oppression.
