This event qualifies for one hour of credit toward the Gillings School’s annual inclusive excellence training requirement for faculty and staff.
This session features the work of leading campus health equity researchers. All are working towards developing solutions to reduce critical social and racial inequities. At this event, we will also present the Gillings Health Equity Faculty Research Award, which recognizes faculty who demonstrate excellence in research that has made a substantial impact on improved equitable outcomes or sustained reduction in inequities in a pressing public health issue. In addition, we feature speakers from other university centers and institutes that address health equity solutions.
