Dr. Feng-Chang Lin will present “Working as a biostatistician: My life in the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Science Institute (NC TraCS).” He is heavily engaged in collaborative research in biomedical fields. His primary area of research is in the development of novel statistical methods for modeling recurrent events that frequently appear in biomedical studies; which aim to assist physicians and healthcare providers in better understanding the natural history of a disease and its risk factors.
