Wells Awarded Thompson Prize for Young Researchers
Rebecca Wells, PhD, assistant professor, has been awarded the prestigious Thompson Prize for Young Researchers by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
The John D. Thompson Prize recognizes young investigators based on their contributions to the research literature in the field of health services. Wells’s current research focuses on child welfare agency management, including its impact and effectiveness. Wells is the fourth recipient since 2000 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to receive the award. Previous recipients include Shoou-Yih Daniel Lee, William Dow and Bryan Weiner. |
