Building Community: Welcome Mixer for Students of Color
Are you an incoming student of color to the Gillings School of Global Public Health? We want to welcome you and facilitate community building among affinity groups during this mixer as a part of the Gillings School's orientation schedule. During this mixer, you will get to engage with student leaders from the Minority Student Caucus, other Gillings students, staff and faculty members and administrators of color -- we are all committed to making sure you feel connected and supported.

Student Organizations and Activities Fair
Every year, the Gillings School of Global Public Health hosts a Student Organizations and Activities Fair for UNC offices and organizations from around campus to meet Gillings students and inform them about available services and activities they will be able to participate in throughout the school year.

University Day is an occasion to remember the University’s past and celebrate its future. The date, October 12, marks the laying of the cornerstone of Old East, the institution’s first building and the oldest state university building in the nation.
