Orientation is an exciting and important start to your experience as a student at Gillings. All new students are expected to attend and actively participate in all sessions. Please note that these are the only times during which orientation sessions will occur, and you are highly encouraged to attend all in-person/online synchronous sessions.

Do you identify as a student of color and are new to the Gillings School of Global Public Health? If so, please stop by for a “cool treat” at this year’s Meet and Greet Welcome Event as a part of the Gillings orientation. We invite you to engage with student leaders from the Minority Student Caucus, other Gillings students, staff, faculty and administrators of color. University International Graduate Student Welcome and Orientation (Hosted by UNC ISSS)
All international students are required to attend International Student Orientation. This session is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 students and will cover crucial immigration information and campus resources for new international students. (Note that International Student Orientation is separate from other orientation sessions you may be required to attend.) Please use the registration link below to register.
