Opioids, Substance Abuse and Mental Health

We work to reduce the risk of the abuse of opioids and other addictive substances. We also work to strengthen systems for coordinating overdose surveillance, engage community partners on adoption and implementation of new and promising interventions, and contribute to a better understanding of downstream health effects of substance misuse. In addition, our researchers are tireless in their efforts to improve systems and services for people with serious mental illness.
