Dr. Richard Smith has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for distinguished contributions to statistics, particularly the statistical analysis of extreme events and environmental applications including climate change and air pollution.
Love wins CZI funding for open source software to analyze genomics data
November 19, 2020 Thursday, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative announced $3 million in funding for open source software projects, including $74,000 to Michael Love, PhD, assistant professor at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
