Oberlander and Hassmiller Join HPAA Faculty

The Department of Health Policy and Administration has added two faculty members to its staff. Jon Oberlander, PhD, was named associate professor. Oberlander holds a joint appointment with the Department of Social Medicine in the UNC School of Medicine and has been a research fellow for the Sheps Center for Health Services Research since 2002. Kristen Hassmiller, PhD, was named assistant professor in the department. A recent doctoral student at the University of Michigan , Hassmiller’s teaching interests include operations research, decision analysis, modeling, and a tobacco. |
