NCIPH offers a number of management consulting services for public health and healthcare clients including organizational assessments, project management, strategic management/planning and quality improvement.

Strategic Management

Healthcare and public health organizations are facing unprecedented challenges as they attempt to address increasing costs of care, enhance quality of care, and engage in healthcare reforms. NCIPH assists clients to better understand and respond to these challenges, providing a range of strategic planning services such as establishing and tracking an organization’s strategic direction, conducting environmental scans, assessing organization capacity and readiness for change, and identifying and clarifying adaptive initiatives (e.g. new service delivery models.) NCIPH has particular expertise in helping NC public health agencies meet state accreditation requirements for strategic planning.

Business Planning

Business planning is a well-established approach for developing a new product or service. UNC is a leader in public health business planning. Since 1999, we have worked with hundreds of different local communities and many state public health agencies to help them build business planning skills and develop real-world public health business plans.

Leadership Development

NCIPH has deep experience with leadership development with healthcare organizations, community groups, public health agencies and individuals from across the field of public health. We can help you design and execute a leadership development program to address the key issues in your community, agency, or state.
