Bio: Katherine graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2015 with degrees in Economics and Global Politics and was an international fellow in Social and Behavioral Health at the Cluj School of Public Health in Cluj Romania for the 2015-2016 academic year. While there, she conducted a qualitative study on the pregnancy experiences of women living in disadvantaged, rural areas in Romania with a focus on understanding ethnic and social inequities. With CPC, she conducts research on using vignettes to measure social norms on family planning in Nigeria. As a FHI-360 fellow, she conducts research on scale development of social norms on reproductive health in the DRC and on social networks among those most at risk for HIV in urban areas.
