The $50 million Gillings Gift, announced in 2007, allows the School to make targeted investments in cutting-edge public health projects. By focusing on solving big problems, committing to high standards, and being willing to assume more risk than many traditional funders do, we have unleashed groundbreaking work by the School’s faculty, students and staff.  Gillings Innovation Labs alone have led to more than $50 million in additional research funding.
