Bio: Camille R. Murray is passionate about supporting young families navigating serious illness, whether the patient is a child or a caregiver, particularly in the context of systems of oppression. Her research interests revolve around identifying unmet needs in these vulnerable populations, developing evidence-based interventions, and rigorously evaluating their effectiveness to improve healthcare quality, access, and outcomes. Prior to seeking a PhD, Camille received her Master of Public Health, with a focus in Social, Behavioral, and Health Education Sciences, from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and both a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutritional Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin.

Research Interests: Serious illness in pediatric, adolescent, and young adult populations; family-based interventions; palliative care; qualitative and mixed methods research; community-based participatory research.
