| Email: cbiddell@live.unc.edu | Caitlin Biddell (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Health Policy and Management at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. Caitlin received her MSPH in Health Policy and Management in 2020 and has continued on to pursue a PhD with a minor in Decision Sciences and Outcomes Research. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing patient financial barriers to healthcare as a means to promoting more equitable cancer care outcomes. Her work includes partnerships with the Patient Advocate Foundation, a national non-profit organization, and the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund at the NC Cancer Hospital. Caitlin is a North Carolina native and currently lives in Durham, NC. Following program completion, Caitlin plans to pursue a career in health services research, leveraging available data and resources to support equitable policy development and program implementation.
