Dr. Milton J. Rosenau served as director of the UNC Division of Public Health from 1936–1940 and then as the first dean of the UNC School of Public Health from 1940 until his death in 1946. Named in his honor, the Rosenau Society recognizes generous donors who make an annual commitment to the Gillings School or its departments to meet our most critical needs. Rosenau Society gifts allow us to accomplish many things:

  • Attract and support the best students from around the world.
  • Assist students in pursuing national leadership opportunities.
  • Recruit and retain an exemplary public health faculty.
  • Invest in new programs and research striving to improve public health.
