UNC researchers receive NC Evaluation Fund Grant to support Project RESTART

Project RESTART aims to develop a Domestic Violence Intervention Program model that incorporates restorative justice, trauma-informed programming, wrap-around services, partnerships with social justice and economic opportunity organizations, and communication strategies that prioritize survivor-centered content. The interdisciplinary collaboration recently received a funding award from the North Carolina Evaluation Fund Grants program.

Dr. Beth Moracco honored with 2021 Edward Graham Kidder Faculty Service Award

The Edward Kidder Graham Award recognizes distinguished service by a UNC-Chapel Hill faculty member that benefits the University, North Carolina and the United States. The 2021 award was presented to Dr. Beth Moracco, associate professor of health behavior at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and associate director of the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center.

Researchers examine relationship of campus policies to prevalence of campus sexual assault

An interdisciplinary team led by researchers at the Gillings School explored the critical issue of campus sexual assault in their article, "Starting the Conversation: Are Campus Sexual Assault Policies Related to the Prevalence of Campus Sexual Assault?"
